Cloverstar's Part

Here is what is going on in the clan right now, in Cloverstar's point of view.  I will have a map and more information shortly!  And first off, instead of the normal herbs used in the books, we have our own.  This includes Patch Seeds for stomach aches, Chewed clover stem for open wounds, and Seriod Roots for green cough.

The sky was pale, brewing with storm clouds only whiskers away from hitting the clan.  Cloverstar knew the rock dens had many crackes and creases, and if not fixed she would have many wet warriors.  She whisked off until she met up with Burningpelt, who was pushing his nose into the fresh kill pile.  Looking up, he dipped his head in greeting.
"Burningpelt, can you take a few warriors to help find some moss to put in the cracks of the rock dens, I can tell a storm is coming and the dens will not be protected by rain."
Burningpelt's hard green eyes looked up at the clouds, and he nodded his head.  "Of course."  He turned and padded into the haze of clovers.
Cloverstar rapped her tail over her paws and shivered.  Leaf-bare was approching quickly, and she had a feeling this year would find the clan unprepared.

Clovertstar snagged a mouse from the fresh-kill pile with a hooked claw; as she dragged it off into a shadey patch of clovers, she lay dow and began to feast.  Eaglewing, her rough grey and white fur ruffled from the wind, lay down beside her.  "Emeraldpaw is suffering green-caugh."  She sighed sadly.  "His mother won't stop bothering me about it, asking if he's any better."
"Her son is very ill and might die,"  Cloverstar pointed out, a hinge of sympathy in her meow.  She kept her voice low, in case Stemwhisker was close by.
"I know, I know, but i'm trying the best I can!"  Eaglewing growled.  "Now then, if only I could find some Seriod root."
"Seriod root?"  Cloverstar gasped.  "That is the only cure for green cough?  Well the only Seriod root I know of grows inside the borders of Tornclan!"
Eaglewing shook her head with side eyes.  "I'd be scalped alive if I took one step inside their borders.  You said yourself we would stay clear of Tornclan at all costs."
"Emeraldpaw's life depends on it."  Cloverstar hissed, her fur rising.  We must find Seriod root for Emeraldpaw, if not he won't survive the first day of leaf-bare!
"Very well..."  Eaglewing grumbled.  "But I'm not going alone."
"Of course."  Cloverstar nodded.  "You may take Lionstripe and Thornfur with you."
Eaglewing swallowed.  "Thank you, Cloverstar.  We shall leave at Dawn."
